We would like to extend an invitation to scientists and trainees to attend the UBCO Diabetes & Obesity Research Day 2025.

This meeting will be held at the UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna, British Columbia on May 29, 2025.

This academic research day will share the latest research in diabetes and obesity research across British Columbia.

Diabetes & Obesity Research Day 2025 will celebrate the accomplishments of our colleagues and the positive impact of their research on people and families living with and at risk for diabetes and obesity across British Columbia.

This exciting annual scientific day enables academic researchers from across British Columbia to connect, collaborate, and present their research.

Graduate trainees are invited to deliver an oral presentation or present a scientific poster highlighting their research project.

This in-person event includes both on campus presentations at UBCO campus and an evening scientific poster reception at a local venue.

This interprovincial meeting is designed to support research collaboration across campuses and connect the UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan research communities.

Ground transportation and accommodations will be organized for trainees from Vancouver-Kelowna.
