UBC Vancouver Diabetes Research Day (VDRD) is our annual academic research day event for graduate trainees and post doctoral fellows. VDRD 2026 is our 13th annual showcase of diabetes research excellence from across British Columbia- from beta cells to bicycles. The 2026 meeting will attract Canada’s leading islet research faculty, post doctoral fellows and graduate students from across the country.
UBC’s BC Diabetes Research Network (BCDRN) is partnering with the Canadian Islet Research Training Network (CIRTN) to host their 5th annual national meeting.
UBC is hosting a joint event that includes Vancouver Diabetes Research Day on November 16 and CIRTN National Meeting on November 16, 17 and 18.
Registration is required to attend.
Attendees are invited to attend VDRD on November 16 and attendees can register to attend CIRTN and participate in three days of meetings.
