Primary members of the Diabetes Research Group are located on the 5th floor of the new UBC Life Sciences Institute. The majority of the group is located in the West Tower of this building in open-concept lab space.
The Life Sciences Institute overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Mountain Range. The Life Sciences Institute is located on the main Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver B.C., Canada. Taxi from Vancouver International Airport or downtown takes 15-20 minutes.

Once on Point Grey campus, the Life Sciences Biulding is between Westbrook Mall, Health Sciences Mall and Thunderbird Place. It is next to the UBC Hospital.
